The distance of Proxima centauri-B from sun is only 20 years

You must have seen a lot of Hollywood space movies, most of the movies show that the earth has become unsuitable for human habitation so people look for other planets. And when that planet is found, human civilization leaves to live on that planet. Even if that planet is thousands of light years away.

At present we are in exactly the same situation. This world has given us a place to live. Gave food for food. But human civilization has given in return only global warming and climate change. As people are improving day by day, they are harming nature. When 2036 comes, we will run out of all the natural resources in the world and by 2040, we will run out of drinking water in the world. Scientists are very worried about this.

In this state people are looking for another planet. Mars is the first choice of scientists as another planet. Over the past few decades, humans have made many attempts to establish life on Mars. But Mars does not have such a strong magnetic field as our Earth and Mars has a big problem with oxygen. So scientists are trying to go beyond our solar system and establish life on a planet. At this moment, our nearest solar system is Proximal centauri and one of the planets in this solar system is Proxima centauri - B, which scientists have been looking at for a long time.

According to scientists, this planet falls within the habitable zone of its star so this planet could be the future earth for us.

But to date we have not done any space mission on this planet. So it would not be right to say everything in advance. The only information we have about this planet is the information provided by the telescope.

This planet, which is only 4.2 light years away, is still a mystery to us. Today we are so advanced that we have all the information about the planets, stars, galaxies, nebula thousands of millions of light years away. But to date we have not done any spaces missions on a planet 4.2 light years away. The main reason is distance. It may lichen very close but it takes 4 years for light from our sun to reach here.

 Voyager-1 is a man-made vehicle that has gone all the way. Which is still advancing at a speed of 17 KM / SEC. And if we send this vehicle to proximal sentry-B, then this vehicle will take about 17000 years to get there. In so many days, human civilization may be extinct.

But this is not the fastest man-made move. Parker Solar Probe This vehicle was sent by NASA to receive data from the Sun's Corona. It takes a speed of about 200 miles / SEC.

If we could send this vehicle to Proxima centauri-B, it would be there in 7000 years. Which is a lot of time for us. 

At present, scientists have almost solved this problem. Scientists are talking about a vehicle called breakthrough starshot. According to scientists, this vehicle can go to Proxima centauri-B in just 20 years. According to the scientists, this project will depend entirely on nano technology.

 The specialty of this vehicle


=> These breakthrough starshot vehicles will be 4m × 4m in which light cells will be made. And this vehicle will have about 4MP camera so that these vehicles can take all the pictures of proxima centori-B. This project will require very little amount of energy. These vehicles can pick up about 20-15% of the speed of light. Its speed will be around 450,000 KM / SEC. According to scientists, it may be built before 2036 and by 2056, these vehicles will move to Proxima centauri-B.

And it will take 4 years for any information to come to us from there.


How will this breakthrough starshot work?


=> About 1000 breakthrough starshot spacecraft will be sent into space on a mother spaceship. Then about 100 light lager from the earth will focus on these vehicles. As a result of these legger shots, these vehicles will run at high speed towards Proxima centauri-B.

The problem with this project

This project is as simple as it sounds. First of all, this project requires millions of dollars which is not possible for any one organization. If all the countries in our world donate something then maybe this project will be done in 2026 before 2036. Countries will invest in universal science without buying their tools, which will be useful for human civilization all over the world.


Again an important problem with this vehicle is that even if a very fine dust falls on this vehicle it will get worse. And there is so much dust in space that it is very difficult to say how many of the 1000 shots will reach Proxima centauri-B.

And the speed of these vehicles will be so much that scientists will not be able to control these vehicles from the earth. Which is one of the major problems of this project.

If we succeed in this project, it will be the best realization of human civilization. Humans will be able to take pictures of a planet from another solar system across all its boundaries.
